ECU’s football program got some good news from its starting quarterback on Wednesday.

Katin Houser announced he would return to the Pirates. He announced the news on his X page.
Houser became the starting quarterback during the second half of the season and helped the Pirates to a 4-1 record after Blake Harrell took over as head football coach. Houser had 18 touchdown passes and 1,859 yards for the season.
Houser is a former Michigan State quarterback who came to ECU via the transfer portal.
