It’s official … the Dallas Cowboys have put ECU football alum Shavon Revel on the Non-Football Injury List.
The move was made ahead of the season opener with the Philadelphia Eagles. Revel has been working to recover from surgery after tearing his ACL last season while playing for the Pirates.
Since he’s on the list, he will not play in the first six weeks of the NFL season, according to SI.com.
Revel played in 24 games at ECU, finishing with 70 tackles, five for loss, with three interceptions and 15 pass breakups. He also earned an 83.5 PFF coverage grade in his last full season in 2023, and an 85.4 coverage grade in 2024.
