Could Greenville’s Mr. Beast buy East Carolina a national championship in football?
The Patte Facts Instagram page posed that question on its Instagram page. In the post, the website suggests that Mr. Beast fund a Group of Five team to win the College Football Playoff. James Madison and Tulane are two of those teams in this year’s playoffs.
“Someone said Mr. Beast should do a video where he pays for a G5 team to win a National Championship,” said user “TheHerdBros,” and “I actually think that’s a genius idea that would fascinate sports fans everywhere.”
Among the photos in the Instagram post is an illustration of Mr. Beast with ECU. He didn’t attend ECU but has had a long-standing relationship with the school, from using their facilities to even announcing a start-up program to teach people about social media.
