Wednesday starts a new chapter in the life of Miami Marlins Manager and ECU alum Clayton McCullough.
The Miami Herald reports the Marlins begin spring training workouts on Wednesday at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Fla. The first full-squad working is Monday, the newspaper reports.
“You get that itch,” McCullough said during media day last Friday. “It’s the rhythm of the year. It’s time for baseball to get started.”
The newspaper pointed to several things McCullough talked about, from putting his staff together to what the workouts leading up to Monday and spring training.
