After two rehab starts on the mound for ECU Alum Carson Whisenhunt, it appears he’s ready to return to Triple-A Sacramento.
The San Francisco Giants haven’t revealed the next step for Whisenhunt, but he could be ready to rejoin the River Cats rotation later this week. He was placed on the disabled list on July 22 with a sore foot.
