Cardinals’ Zay Jones in concussion protocol, will miss Thursday’s game

by | Sep 25, 2025

Former ECU football star and Arizona Cardinals receiver Zay Jones will not be suiting up for the Arizona Cardinals Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks after not clearing concussion protocol, his coach said on Wednesday.

Jonathan Gannon said Jones suffered the injury on the Cardinals’ last offensive snap in a 16-15 loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday. A pass to Jones was knocked out of his hands on third-and-9. Gannon said Jones has not practiced this week.

Jones has three catches for 29 yards in three games this season.
