PRL Thursday: Previewing Alabama-ECU and Ayden-Grifton High School football

by | Aug 6, 2026

Thursday’s “Pirate Radio Live” continues our ECU football coverage, with a little bit of high school thrown in, too.

We’ll talk more about the start of the ECU football season and the fall practice schedule. We’ll hear from Chris Stewart, the Alabama play-by-play voice, as the Pirates get ready to face the Tide in the season opener. We’ll also speak with former ECU running back Rahjai Harris. WNCT’s Zach Kaplan will give his thoughts on ECU starting and fill us in on the high school football scene as that season draws closer. Garrett Wingate, the Ayden-Grifton football coach, will also be part of the show, along with picks expert Jeff Nadu. Tune in starting at 3.
