All you have to do to see the impact ECU football alum Ja’Quan McMillian has made for the Denver Broncos this season is reflect back on his performance recently against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The cornerback had two sacks and an interception in the Broncos’ win over the Chiefs. He even got the game ball. The win was just the second in the previous 18 games for the Broncos heading into this past week’s bye.
Since entering the NFL as a free agent out of ECU in 2022, McMillian has emerged as one of the top nickel corners in the league.
“I think I told you guys earlier during camp, J-Mac is going to be J-Mac, no matter who they bring in,” McMillian said. “I love Jahdae, he’s been a great add to the team, and he’s going to be a good player, but I just do me. Keep working hard, go out there and do what I’m told to do. I never worry about the outside noise.”
