One of the main questions Coastal Carolina coach Tim Beck didn’t answer for members of the media on Wednesday was who would start at quarterback.

From the sound of it and the feeling inside the fieldhouse, I’d be shocked if someone other than Tad Hudson takes the first snap. #TealNation #Chantsup pic.twitter.com/9VwsjRXPH7— Brandon Dunn (@BDunnsports) September 10, 2025
The Chanticleers have struggled on offense in a Virginia and a 13-0 win over Charleston Southern last week. So, Beck said both MJ Morris, who started against Charleston Southern, and Tad Hudson will be ready to go.
Morris threw three interceptions while Hudson came in and led the Chanticleers to their only touchdown.
