Hoffman and the Blue Jays came through as they won, 4-1. Hoffman earned his 24th save by striking out all three batters he faced. The Blue Jays also won their 11th straight home game, a team record.
Hoffman’s four children threw out the first pitch to dad before the start of the game in a cute moment captured in photos on Instagram and on video posted to Facebook and X.
