ESPN’s “SportsCenter 50 States in 50 Days” will make a stop at the Little League Softball World Series when the tournament takes place at Elm Street Park in Greenville.
The network is making stops all across the United States in a series its done in 2005 with much success. The current version began on June 27 and runs through Aug. 16.
ESPN will make the stop in Greenville on Aug. 7. Unfortunately, that stop is the only one where the anchor hasn’t been named, according to ESPNPressRoom.com.
Among the stops it’s made so far Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in New York, and the Louisville Slugger Factory & Museum in Kentucky. Other stops will be made during the WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indiana and NASCAR’s stop at Dover Speedway in Delaware.
