CFL Week 6 roundup: Quiet week for ECU alum with only Hardy, Amos in action

by | Jul 14, 2025

Week 6 was a transition one for the East Carolina football alumni in the CFL.

There was only one game where former Pirates played. Hamilton and DaShaun Amos beat Ottawa and Justin Hardy, 23-20. The rest were either enjoying an off week or were injured and did not play.

The schedule includes:

  • Toronto at Montreal, Thursday, 7:30
  • Calgary at Winnipeg, Friday, 8:30
  • Saskatchewan at British Columbia, Saturday, 7
  • Hamilton at Ottawa, Sunday, 7

Below is the latest on those players heading into Week 7.

  • DaShaun Amos, DB, Hamilton Tiger-Cats: 11 tackles and an interception returned for 32 yards in five games
  • Stanley Bryant, OL, Winnipeg Blue Bombers: After having last week off, 3DownNation.com reports he sat out Sunday’s practice with an unknown injury. He left the Week 5 loss to Calgary in the fourth quarter and didn’t return to play. He’s only missed five starts in his 15-year career and two were for medical reasons last season.
  • Justin Hardy, WR, Ottawa Red Blacks: Sixth with 26 catches for 314 yards and 1 TD
  • Tyler Snead, WR, Montreal Alouettes: Ninth in league with 21 catches for 300 yards and 1 TD
  • Jeremy Lewis, Edge, BC Lions: Missed last four games with foot injury. Has one tackle in one game
  • Hampton Ergle, OL, Toronto Argonauts: Played in one game this season
  • Parker Moorer, OL, Ottawa Red Blacks: On team’s practice squad
