Two publications give ECU high marks for uniforms in ‘College Football 26’

Gamers have been enjoying this past weekend in large part because EA Sports’ “College Football 26” is out.

The game was released Thursday and offers fans a chance to play with their favorite team in a wide variety of ways. CollegeFootballNetwork.com and OperationSports.com have broken down the game from an athestic angle, commenting on the look of the game and, in particular, some of the teams. Both gave high marks to how East Carolina looks in the game.

Shahmeer Shahzad wrote in Operation Sports’ piece, “The East Carolina Pirates look crazy in their current home uniform, as it gives off energetic and royal vibes. The main highlight is, of course, the dominance of deep purple, used throughout the uniform.”

College Football Network actually puts ECU No. 2 behind Tennesse with its look. It said in part, “Some teams have uniforms that look good, and as a result, alternates are not required. That is the case with the East Carolina Pirates.”
