Former ESPN “College Gameday” host David Pollack didn’t have the best things to say about East Carolina’s first opponent for the 2025 football season.

In his “See Ball Get Ball with David Pollack” podcast, he breaks down the ACC and the 2025 season. He didn’t mince words when he said he had low expectations for NC State this season.

The Wolfpack finished 6-7 and lost to the Pirates in the Military Bowl. Before that, NC State had four straight seasons with eight or more wins. Now, they could be heading in the opposite direction.

“NC State, there’s a very good chance they fall off a cliff,” Pollack said, according to Athlon Sports.
