While the St. Louis Cardinals came away with a loss on Friday, right fielder Alec Burleson came away with a win of sorts.

The Atlanta Braves won, 6-5, after both teams did all their scoring in the first three innings. Burleson finished 2-for-4 with two runs, a walk and RBI. Both of his hits were doubles. He doubled in a run in the first inning for a 3-1 Cardinals’ lead. He added a ground-rule double in the third and later scored in the third.

The two doubles give him 17 for the season while the RBI was his 43rd.

He hit his ninth homer of the season for Vancouver in a 4-3 win over Hillsboro.
After going 0-for-2 for the night, he connected on a three-run homer in the sixth that gave the Canadians a 4-1 lead. It was his ninth homer and 29th RBIs.
He finished 1-for-4 with the three RBI and one run.
Ryan McCrystal
He played a big role in Daytona rallying for a 12-6 win over Jupiter.
The team trailed 6-0 before rallying for seven runs in the eighth inning. McCrystal finished 3-for-5 with a run and three RBI. He singled and drove in two in the sixth to cut the deficit to 6-5. He then singled in a run in the eighth to tie it at 6-6. He later scored to give Daytona an 8-6 lead.
He’s now batting .300 for the season and .370 for July (10 for 27) after batting .364 in June (24 for 66). His three RBI give him 44 for the season.
