It’s hard to believe that in less than two weeks, rookies and some veterans will report for NFL training camps.
USA Today’s Glenn Erby covers the Baltimore Ravens and has been heaping praise on the team for its offseason moves to make a good team better. Having quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry back makes them even better.
So does having East Carolina football alum Keaton Mitchell. He had a breakout rookie season before an ACL injury stopped his campaign short. He came back last season and played toward the end but wasn’t 100%.
He is now, and that makes the Ravens a Super Bowl favorite. Erby wrote in part, “Keaton Mitchell will enter training camp healthy and more explosive after an ACL injury slowed his progress from an outstanding debut as a rookie.”
