Former St. Joe’s pitcher heading to ECU

A former Saint Joseph’s pitcher who hit the transfer portal has announced on social media he will play at East Carolina in 2026.

Frank Ciccone, a 6-foot-2 junior from New Jersey, pitched three seasons for the Red Hawks. He was 5-9 with a 6.86 ERA IN 98.1 innings. He struck out 91 and walked 35.

In 2025, he was 5-5 in 14 starts, primarily on Fridays as the series-opening pitcher. He had a 4.70 ERA with 69 strikeouts and 35 walks.
