by | Jun 20, 2025

Montreal is the hottest team in the CFL. East Carolina football alum Tyler Snead is, too.

He caught his first touchdown of the season in Thursday’s 38-28 win over the Edmonton Elks. The win improves the Alouettes to 3-0.

Snead finished with four catches for 64 yards. He was wide open in the end zone when quarterback Davis Alexander scrambled and hit him for a 38-yard score with 1:58 left in the first half. It gave Montreal a commanding 23-6 lead.

Snead now has 11 catches for 215 yards and a touchdown. Earlier in the week, The Canadian Press wrote a feature on his hot start.
