SI.com NFL reporter Albert Breer reports East Carolina alum and Dallas Cowboys defensive back Shavon Revel Jr., has suffered a “setback with his knee” as he works to recover from a torn ACL.
When discussing the #Cowboys draft class, @AlbertBreer added that CB Shavon Revel had “a little bit of a setback with his knee.”
Maybe Breer can clarify if that’s a recent update (I don’t want to assume), but given Dallas’ health at corner, it’s worth noting.

Breer was on “MMQB” and reported the news of “a little bit of a setback with his knee,” but did not elaborate further. Revel is working to get better after he had surgery on his knee following an injury early last season.
Revel, who was picked in the third round of the NFL draft, has not participated in any of the camps. There’s word he would be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list (PUP) when training camp started and could be healthy by the start of the season, SI.com reports.
