East Carolina lacrosse head coach Brittany Dipper has been selected to serve as an assistant coach for the Haudenosaunee Women’s National Team for the Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA) Women’s Qualifier. The event is set for June 26-30 at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale, Fla.

Dipper will be serving on a staff alongside head coach Taylor Frink (UAlbany) and assistants Liz Beville (Le Moyne) and Leah Gallagher (UAlbany). The staff will be leading a 22-woman squad also announced this week.

“I would like to thank Taylor Fink for this incredible opportunity to join the Haudenosaunee Women’s National Team staff,” said Dipper. “It is a great honor to serve and give back to the creators to the game, and one I am extremely grateful for. I am excited to work with such talented, high-level players who are striving to compete for a gold medal in PALA and beyond.”

The Haudenosaunee Nationals Lacrosse Organization is an indigenous sports organization (the only one of its kind in the world) that competes on the world stage. The organization is sanctioned by the sovereign Haudenosaunee Grand Council and is governed by the Haudenosaunee Nationals Board of Directors.

The top four teams from the Pan-American region will qualify for the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship, to be held in Japan. Three more teams will earn spots in the WL Women’s Division II Championship. The 11-team field comprises the Haudenosaunee, the United States, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Peru, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Haudenosaunee enter the event ranked eighth in the world. The Originators of the Game are coming off a gold medal finish at the 2023 PALA Sixes Cup.
