Pirates in baseball: Josh Moylan drives in run as Hudson Valley rolls

by | May 23, 2025

It was a relatively quiet night for the East Carolina baseball alumni in the majors and minors. However, Josh Moylan did provide some excitement.

The Hudson Valley Renegades third baseman was 1-for-4 with an RBI in his team’s 13-2 win over Winston-Salem. While many of the teams in the northeast part of the country were rained out due to a big system moving through that part of the country, Hudson Valley was lucky enough to be on the road and in North Carolina this time around.

Moylan drove in his 21st run of the season in the seventh with a two-out single that extended the lead to 9-2. Earlier in the game, in the third inning, he was hit by a pitch but the Renegades could not score him.

See below to find out what the rest of the Pirates in baseball did on Thursday.
