East Carolina baseball alum Carson Whisenhunt has had an impressive start to his season in the minors.
The San Francisco Giants prospect is currently with the Sacramento RiverCats in Triple-A. He has pitched well over his last three starts, going into the seventh inning each time.
On Tuesday, Giants manager Bob Melvin praised him for his latest outing. Many believe it’s only a a matter of time before he’s called up to pitch for the Giants.
