The Pirates wrapped up a three game series this weekend with the Bulls, losing two of three. Their game will be the last one played on Tuesday.

IRVING, Texas – Seeding is set for the 2025 American Baseball Championship presented by Regions, to be held at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Fla., May 20-25.
The tournament will be played in a double-elimination format through the semifinal round. The championship final is a winner-take-all matchup Sunday, May 25, which will determine The American’s automatic entrant to the NCAA Championship.
Live coverage of the first five days of the championship will be available on ESPN+, while the final will take place on May 25 at noon ET/11 a.m. CT on ESPNEWS and ESPN+. The action begins Tuesday, May 20 when No. 5 Tulane (30-26, 13-14 American) takes on No. 4 Florida Atlantic (36-19, 15-12 at 9 a.m. Eastern, followed by No. 8 Rice (17-38, 10-17) against No. 1 UTSA (42-11, 23-4) 47 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. No. 7 Wichita State (20-34, 11-16) takes on No. 2 Charlotte (35-20, 18-9) at 4 p.m. Eastern, followed by No. 6 East Carolina (29-25, 13-14) against No. 3 South Florida (29-23, 16-11).
UTSA won its first American regular-season title. Tulane defeated Wichita State in the 2024 American Baseball Championship final to win the title for a second season in a row.
