McCullough got his World Series ring from former teammate Freddie Freeman before the game.
The Marlins tied it at 5-5 when Dane Myers hit a grand slam in the sixth inning. Fellow ECU alum Connor Norby came on as a pinch hitter and drew a walk before Myers’ blast.
The Marlins dropped to 12-16 with the loss.
