Harold Varner III tied for 10th after LIV Open Miami first round

Harold Varner III enters Day 2 of the LIV Open Miami tournament tied for 10th at even par.

The ECU alum started with a bogey but made up for it with two birdies on No. 6 and No. 7. Another bogey on No. 9 put him back at even par. He had another bogey on No. 17 before a nice shot on No. 18 got him back to 72 for the day.

He’s tied with five other golfers. 4Aces GC teammate Patrick Reed leads at -5. Those two combined with Dustin Johnson and Thomas Pieters to finish the day at even par, two shots behind Crushers GC.
