Harold Varner III slips back in pack, tied for 21st at LIV event

ECU alum Harold Varner III shot a 1-under par and is now tied for 21st after the second round of the LIV Golf Singapore event on Saturday.

Varner had four birdies and three bogeys for his final score. Dustin Johnson, Varner’s partner in the 4Aces group, is now tied for first with Joaquin Niemann at 11-under par.

The 4Aces team of Johnson, Varner, Thomas Pieters and Patrick Reid combined to shoot -6 on the second day. They are at -20, five shots ahead of the field for the top spot.
