A former ECU baseball star and alum who transferred to and also played at Kentucky has a new job with the Wildcats.
ECU Alum Ryder Giles has joined the Kentucky baseball team as a member of the support staff. Giles played for the Pirates from 2019-2022 before transferring to Kentucky.
Kentucky Baseball posted the news on its social media.

Giles finished 6-3 with a 3.93 ERA pitching at ECU. His best season was 2022 when he went 4-1 with nine starts, a 3.27 ERA and 35 strikeouts in 44 innings. He also had a save.
He batted .219 at ECU (98 for 448) with three homers and 61 RBI in four seasons.
