Alec Burleson part of Cardinals Caravan to kick off baseball season

On the road again.

Alec Burleson is one of 40 current members of the St. Louis Cardinals, from players to prospects, alumni and team members who are part of the annual Cardinals Caravan. The group hits 20 cities in Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky and Indiana, according to ColumbiaTribune.com. The tours go from this Friday (Jan. 17) to Jan. 20.

Burly played in 152 games in 2024, batting .269 with 147 hits, 78 RBI and 71 runs. He also had 21 homers.

Pitchers and catchers report to spring training in just over a month. The Cardinals’ season starts March 27 at home against the Minnesota Twins.
