LSU football coach making unique move to contribute to school’s NIL fund

LSU football coach Brian Kelly is taking a unique approach to the school’s NIL fund.

Brian Kelly is donating up to $1 million to LSU’s NIL fund. TheAdvertiser.com reports, “The Kellys announced Friday the start of the “Kelly Family Million Dollar Match Challenge” where they will match up to $1 million in donations given to LSU’s Name, Image and Likeness collective, Bayou Traditions, received specifically for the football team through Feb. 5. The Kellys’ money will go to the Tiger Athletic Foundation.”

“In order to remain the nation’s elite in this new world of college athletics, we have to be competitive in all areas of our program. I am committed to doing all that we can to win championships at LSU.”
