ECU Alum Josh Grosz just missed out on getting the win for Hudson Valley as the Renegades rallied for a 6-2 win over Bowling Green on Tuesday in Game 2 of the South Atlantic League Championship Series.
Grosz started and went 2.2 innings, giving up two runs on six hits with five strikeouts and two walks. The Renegades, who trailed when Grosz left the game, scored a run in the fourth and five in the fifth to win it.
The series is tied at 1-1 with the deciding Game 3 on Friday.
