Win or lose, the rush of the game keeps players like Winnipeg Bombers offensive lineman and ECU Alum Stanley Bryant up all night long.
“I rarely get any sleep because I (take) C4 (pre-workout), energy drinks, Advil, some of everything, before the game,” said Bryant.
Winnipeg Free Press reporter Taylor Allen wrote about the long days for the players. In this report, he wrote about how Winnipeg traveled to the British Columbia Lions for a 7 p.m. game on Sunday. By the time they land back in Winnipeg, it will be early Monday.
