ECU alum Holton Ahlers and many other UFL players hit training camp on Monday.
Ahlers was one of 24 quarterbacks who sat out a camp of their own last week due to contract negotiations and a worry about the amount of compensation for the season. However, they returned to work and joined their teammates.
Tuesday was another chance to work within the system to get ready for the upcoming season. UFL reporter James Baker posted a video to X of Ahlers, who got lots of action and showed he’s definitely not rusty. He’ll be a backup again this season for the Arlington Renegades and will hopefully see some action on the field, too.
The Renegades open the season March 29 at home against San Antonio.
