Watch: Carter Spivey does it all but doesn’t get win for Lake County in title series

ECU Alum Carter Spivey did everything but get the win for the Lake County Captains in a 5-4 loss on Sunday to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in Game 1 of the Midwest League championship series.

He came on in relief in the first inning and pitched 4.2 innings with a run and four hits given up with four strikeouts. He left with the lead and lowered his ERA to 1.50.

Lake County lost the lead directly after that. Game 2 of the series will be at Lake County on Tuesday.
