WATCH: Bad loss on the court, even worse off for ECU

It’s one thing to lose a game. It’s another to lose a close bet. But this is brutal.

The loss by the ECU men’s basketball team to North Texas Tuesday night was one thing. But the fact that the officials put time on the clock and a miracle shot not only ended it but messed with the betting lines for the over/under total score of the game is another.

ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt posted on X about this, so did Barstool Sports. Heck, just about everyone posted something on social media about the final seconds.
