SI: Gavin Williams, Connor Norby set for breakout seasons

SI.com continues to prepare for the start of the MLB season. Their latest story focuses on breakout players for each team in 2025. Two ECU baseball alums are on that list.

Cleveland pitcher Gavin Williams and Miami infielder Connor Norby were mentioned with positive reviews for their respective teams. SI pointed to a healthy Williams being consistent in the Guardians’ starting lineup. It also pointed to Norby having his first full season at third base as a positive along with his hard-nosed play.
