Shavon Revel listed as top CB to watch at Jan. 30 Shrine Bowl

by | Jan 25, 2025

Although he won’t be able to play as he recovers from the ACL tear he suffered last September, former ECU cornerback Shavon Revel is listed as the top cornerback at the 2025 Shrine Bowl, according to CollegeFootballNetwork.com.

Revel will be there for team interviews and other activities off the field. The game will be played on Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The game will be televised on the NFL Network.

CollegeFootballNetwork.com gave its top five cornerbacks to watch in the game. They call the cornerback position one of the deepest at the draft and expect at least one player at that position to be drafted in all seven rounds of the NFL draft.

Part of the website’s description of Revel is that he’s “one of the most elite athletes in the draft class. Combined with aggressive physicality and superior length, the Pirates’ playmaker has the physical tools to be an early selection.”
