Shavon Revel among athletes to sign with adidas

by | Apr 24, 2025

Former East Carolina star Shavon Revel has his sneaker contract. All he needs now is a team to wear them for.

On3.com and other media outlets report Revel was one of 12 athletes to sign with adidas on Wednesday. The news comes ahead of the NFL draft, which starts Thursday and runs through Saturday. Revel has been projected as going anywhere between the first and third rounds.

“In order to continue accelerating our impact across football as a brand, we’ve partnered with the game’s top players and our latest rookie class is no exception,” said Aaron Seabron, adidas general manager of U.S. Sports and Creation Center Portland, in a statement. “These athletes exemplify the speed and explosiveness adidas Football is built on and we look forward to celebrating the impact they make on their new teams and on the overall future of the game.”

The other NFL prospects to sign with adidas are Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter, Jalon Walker, Emeka Egbuka, Shemar Stewart, Dylan Sampson, Elijah Arroyo, Nick Scourton, Maxwell Hairston, Jalen Royals and Nick Nash.

The new signees join a roster that includes Patrick Mahomes, Lionel Messi, Damian Lillard and Billie Jean King.
