Report: New Duke QB getting deal worth $8M over two years

CBS Sports is reporting that new Duke quarterback Darian Mensah is getting a lot of money to play for the Blue Devils.

The former Tulane star received a deal from Duke that is believed to pay him $8 million over two years. Mensah threw for 2,727 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2024, leading Tulane to a 9-4 record. He left the school after rumors his coach, Jon Sumrall, would do the same.

CBS Sports reports Mensah was the No. 72 prospect in the transfer portal.
