Report: Cardinals should stick with Burleson among everyday starters

The St. Louis Cardinals are in the thick of the Major League Baseball playoff chase. Fielding the best team will help their cause of making the postseason.

Thomas Gauvain of RedBirdRants.com listed six players the Cardinals should stick with in the starting lineup. ECU alum and outfielder Alec Burleson is one of those players Gauvain listed.

“Burly’s .277/.309/.463 slash line is admirable, and he’s been a potent hitter in the #2 spot,” Gauvain wrote.
