ECU alum Alec Burleson had his best night of the short season in Friday’s 13-9 loss to the Boston Red Sox.
Burleson was 3-for-4 with a run scored, pushing his batting average to .333. As the team’s designated hitter, he singled in the second inning, singled and scored in the fourth on a homer by teammate Ivan Herrera and singled in the sixth.

Carter Cunningham
Starting at first base, he had a two-run single in the first inning in Vancouver’s 5-4 loss to Tri-City in the season opener. The hit gave the team a brief 2-0 lead. He’s now batting .250 for the season.

Carter Spivey
He began the week pitching in a game for the Columbus Clippers. He was then sent to Double-A Akron but was then called back to Columbus on Friday.
