Pirates in baseball: Zach Agnos sharp again In Albuquerque win

Once again, ECU alum Zach Agnos looked dominant on the mound in Thursday’s Albuquerque win over Sugar Land.

The relief pitcher came on in the seventh inning for his Triple-A team and pitched two innings. He didn’t give up a hit and struck out three, all in the seventh inning. He threw 20 pitches, 12 for strikes, to the six batters he faced.

The outing dropped his ERA to 1.69 on the season.

Gavin Williams

The ECU alum got the win for the Cleveland Guardians in a 6-1 decision over the Chicago White Sox.
