The East Carolina softball team is slated to compete in five contests at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium as the Pirates announced their eight-game fall ball schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
All contests will be 10 innings and the five home games are free for the public to attend.
ECU opens its fall slate with a two-game homestand against UNCW (Sept. 28) and Campbell (Oct. 4) before a quick trip to Elon (Oct. 5). The Pirates return home for three straight games, facing Barton (Oct. 10), Chowan (Oct. 17) and Duke (Oct. 18). ECU will wrap up fall ball play with games at NC State (Oct. 24) and UNCW (Oct. 26).
The Pirates are coming off a 31-26 campaign in 2025 that saw the team win a program-best 14 American Conference games and advance to the American Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2017. ECU is led offensively by returners Anna Sawyer, Kanisha Anderson, Gabby Fowler and Chloe Geijer while Taylor Apple returns in the circle for her junior season.
East Carolina welcomes 12 new faces to its 2026 roster, consisting of eight transfers in Sarah Stone (Indiana), Abby Huhn (Iowa State), Lillian Martineau (Georgia Tech), Alexis Morgan (UCF), Hailey Deter (Utah), Addison Lund (Charlotte), Erin Parker (North Carolina) and Julia Apostolakos (South Florida) and four freshmen in Ella Tracy, Kendall Manos, Sydney Rainford and Macey Ciamillo.
