The University of Memphis has hired ECU’s former director of player personnel and recruiting.
The school announced Wednesday on its GoTigersGo.com website that football Ryan Silverfield has hired Scott Gasper as the program’s new general manager.
Gasper was at ECU for the past three seasons before taking the Memphis job. He has over 20 years of coaching experience, GoTigersGo.com reports.
“We are thrilled to welcome Scott as our General Manager,” Silverfield said to GoTigersGo.com. “He will run our recruiting department and assist greatly in roster management and our day-to-day operations.”
Gasper came to ECU from West Virginia, where he worked in 2021 as the director of recruiting.
“I am extremely excited to join a program with such a winning tradition and history,” Gasper said. “I am hoping to be able to come in and add to that.”
