ECU Head Women’s Basketball Kim McNeill has agreed to an extension which will keep her in Greenville through the 2028-29 season.
McNeill, the 2023 American Conference Coach of the Year, led the Pirates to another great year in 2025-26, finishing with a program-record tying 22 regular season wins and finishing second in the American.
In her seven seasons, McNeill has compiled a 109-102 record, including an historic 2022-23 campaign which saw the team win 23 games en route to the American Conference Tournament Championship and the program’s third NCAA Tournament berth. She has helped guide several players to American Conference recognition, including five Defensive Player of the Year awards.
McNeill was hired at ECU in 2019 and previously signed an extension after that 2022-23 season.
