Jeff Hoffman posts words of thanks to Philly fans

ECU baseball alum Jeff Hoffman signed a three-year, $33 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. That meant he had to say goodbye to fans of the Philadelphia Phillies.

On Sunday, Hoffman wrote on Instagram a heartfelt note to fans of the Phillies thanking them for their support. He also talked about his two years with the team and all of their accomplishments. He also apologized for the team falling short of winning a World Series.
