ECU Alum Jeff Hoffman got his 18th hold of the season and lowered his ERA in relief as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves, 3-0, on Saturday.
He replaced starter Zack Wheeler in the eighth inning and struck out two. He now has a 1.88 ERA for the season.
