Harold Varner III finishes tied for fifth at LIV Golf Chicago

ECU golf alum Harold Varner III finished an incredible day at the LIV Golf Chicago on Sunday.

He tied for fifth at -7 with Branden Grace after shooting -6 in Sunday’s final round. He had a bogey-free round with six birdies after starting the day at -1. His birdies came on No. 4, 9, 11, 12, 16 and 17.

His finish netted him $700,000, according to GolfWeek.com.

Dean Burmester won a playoff with John Rahm and Josele Ballester.
