Garrett McGhin is retiring from pro football but staying busy in other areas.
McGhin, who played on the offensive line, announced on Instagram that he would not be playing professional football after seven seasons that included an all-star performance in the USFL in 2022 with the New Jersey Generals and an XFL championship with the Arlington Renegades.
On his Instagram page, he wrote that he was “grateful for his tie at East Carolina, the journey through injury and rehab with MYO Reset and the five years of development and training at CTP” (Coach Tu,barello Performance in Bonita Springs, Fla.). It’s one of the same facilities where former ECU quarterback Gardner Minshew trains.
