IRVING, Texas – Trips to Memphis and Charlotte bookend the East Carolina Men’s Basketball team’s 18-game American Conference slate as the league announced the full conference schedules for all 13 of its teams on Wednesday morning.
Following a nine-day break from its last non-conference game, East Carolina gets conference play started with a two-game road trip at Memphis (Dec. 30) and at UAB (Jan. 2) before coming home to Minges to host Tulane (Jan. 7) and UTSA (Jan. 10).
The Pirates will then set sail on another two-game road swing, visiting Tulsa (Jan. 14) and Wichita State (Jan. 17), followed by a three-game homestand against UAB (Jan. 23), Florida Atlantic (Jan. 28) and Charlotte (Jan. 31).
ECU returns to the court in February with road games at Rice (Feb. 4) and at Temple (Feb. 7) and back-to-back home games against South Florida (Feb. 10) and Rice (Feb. 17).
The final stretch of conference play for the Pirates consists of back-to-back road games against Tulane (Feb. 21) and UTSA (Feb. 24), a two-game homestand against Temple (Feb. 27) and North Texas (Mar. 2) and a trip to Charlotte (Mar. 7) for the regular season finale.
The 2027 American Conference Men’s Basketball Championship will be held in Tampa, Fla. at the Yuengling Center from March 10-14.

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference officially unveiled the East Carolina women’s basketball 2026-27 league schedule on Wednesday morning. The Pirates will play 18 league games with nine on the road and nine at inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.
Game time and TV designations will be announced at a later date.
ECU is set to open conference play on Wednesday, Dec. 30 playing host to Rice before hitting the road for consecutive games against Tulsa (Jan. 3) and Wichita State (Jan. 6). The Pirates will alternate home and road games playing Tulane (Jan. 9) and South Florida (Jan. 17) in Greenville while traveling to Temple (Jan. 13) and Florida Atlantic (Jan. 21).
From there, the team will alternate two-game swings at home and on the road. ECU will host Memphis (Jan. 27) and UTSA (Jan. 30), then hit the road against South Florida (Feb. 3) and at UAB (Feb. 6). Two more games at Minges Coliseum against Florida Atlantic (Feb. 9) and Charlotte (Feb. 13) highlight the schedule followed by road trips to Rice (Jan. 17) and UTSA (Jan. 20).
Coming down the stretch for the Pirates are home games against UAB (Feb. 24) and North Texas (Feb. 27) leading up the final contest of the regular season, which will be at Charlotte (March 6).
The 2027 American Conference Tournament will be held from March 9-13 with a 10-team, five-day format at Yuengling Center in Tampa. Fla. The top two seeds will advance automatically to the semifinals with the third- and fourth-place teams earning quarterfinal byes. The fifth- and sixth-place teams earn byes into the second round while the seventh through 10th place teams open the tournament playing Tuesday, March 9.
East Carolina will be looking for a fifth consecutive winning season in 2026-27 after posting a 22-10 record last year. They begin their eighth season under the guidance of head coach Kim McNeill, who has registered 109 victories and led the Pirates to a pair of 20-plus win campaigns.
