East Carolina student-athletes earn degrees

ECU held graduation ceremonies on Friday, with a number of student-athletes receiving degrees.

Twenty-five (25) current and former East Carolina University student-athletes have completed requirements for and will receive their degrees during the 117th fall commencement ceremonies Friday.

Triston O’Brien (football) is the lone student-athlete to receive a postgraduate degree this fall, while 10 student-athletes earned postgraduate certificates and five of the 25 student-athletes earned an undergraduate degree in communications. Football led the way with 15 graduates, followed by swimming & diving (four), soccer (2) and baseball, men’s track & field, volleyball and women’s track & field each having one graduate.
